FluxFTP is an Android application developed by a solo developer. This Privacy Policy explains how FluxFTP handles information when you use the app.
Overview
FluxFTP does not require a user account, does not operate a backend server for user files, and does not sell user data. The app is designed to connect directly from your Android device to FTP, FTPS, and SFTP servers that you choose to use.
Information stored on your device
FluxFTP may store saved connection details locally on your Android device, such as server address, port, protocol type, username, and related connection settings. If you choose to save credentials, those details are stored locally on your device for your convenience.
You are responsible for the servers and credentials you add to the app. You can remove saved connections from within the app.
Server connections and file transfers
When you connect to an FTP, FTPS, or SFTP server, FluxFTP connects directly from your device to the server information you provide. FluxFTP does not route your server files through a FluxFTP backend server.
Advertising
FluxFTP may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and related Google services may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, crash data, diagnostics, and other information used to provide, limit, measure, and improve advertising.
Google’s use of advertising data is governed by Google’s own policies. You can learn more from Google’s privacy resources and Android advertising settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
FluxFTP may use app store, Android, Google Play, or advertising platform diagnostics to understand crashes, performance, and general app reliability. This information is used to maintain and improve the app.
Data sharing
FluxFTP does not sell user data. FluxFTP may share limited data with third-party service providers only when necessary for app functionality, advertising, diagnostics, legal compliance, or security.
Children’s privacy
FluxFTP is intended for general audiences and is not directed specifically to children. The app is intended for users who need FTP, FTPS, or SFTP file management tools.
Security
FluxFTP is designed to connect directly to servers you configure. You should only connect to servers you trust and should protect your device with appropriate security settings. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
